Apply for a date.
About four minutes. You will hear back from me rather than from a system, and if I am not the right answer for what you are dealing with, I will tell you that quickly.
Why this is an application and not a contact form
Because there are seventeen. Not seventeen a quarter. Seventeen workshops in a year, in person and virtual combined, and that is the entire calendar. There is no version of this where I fit everyone in.
Because every private workshop is built rather than delivered. Three weeks of discovery, research, and scenarios written in your language before the day. That build is the difference between a session your team quotes back and one they enjoyed and forgot.
Because these are the same questions I would ask you on a call. Answering them here saves us both a conversation, and it means the first conversation we do have is a useful one.
Two things that would make me say no
I would rather you knew these before you spend four minutes, because they are the two most common reasons I decline good work.
If your managers will not be in the room
Not observing from the back. In it, doing the exercises, working the same scenarios their team is working. A team cannot hold a skill their manager never reinforces, and I have watched too many good workshops decay in the four weeks afterward for lack of one person saying do the thing we learned. I now require this for private engagements.
If the escalations are caused by something nobody will revisit
If a policy is generating the calls and it is not open for discussion, training makes it worse. Your people will deliver an indefensible answer more smoothly, the customer will still be angry because she is still right, and your best agents are the ones who will feel it most. That is how good people leave.
What happens after you submit
- You hear from me, not from a system, usually within two business days.
- If it looks like a fit, we book twenty minutes and I will have read your answers before we speak.
- If it is not a fit, I will tell you what I would do instead. About a third of the people who talk to me hear that their problem is not a training problem, and I would much rather say that now than after you have spent a budget.
Here are the questions
Short answers are genuinely fine. I am not scoring your writing, I am trying to understand your operation.
This goes to me. You will not be added to any list.
Not ready to apply?
Three things that may be more useful to you right now than a conversation with me.
If you want to know when dates open without committing to anything, join the waitlist. One field, and the people on it see dates before they go public.
If you want to know what this costs before you talk to anyone, here is the Investment Guide.
And if you have a question rather than a project, the FAQ portal answers most of what we hear, and you can always write to me.
