What is required to secure a date(s) for an event?

Once you confirm that you want to book Myra Golden to speak at your meeting, we will send you a Letter of Agreement. This is a one page letter that states in simple terms that Myra will speak where, when, etc. You sign one copy and return it to us with a deposit of 50% of Myra's speaking fee. The deposit locks in the date for you and the Letter of Agreement is our verification from you that we've all agreed on the major items such as date, fee, place, etc.

How does Myra handle expenses?

We ask that you pre-purchase coach airfare after coordinating travel itinerary with Myra Golden. Please setup a direct bill to your master account for a hotel room plus tax and incidentals for Myra’s one night stay. We will invoice you for additional travel expenses (taxi, rental car, airport parking, etc.) If Myra Golden Seminars purchases airfare in advance and invoices you, you will be billed a 25% surcharge (of total travel expenses).

What are Myra's room set up preferences?

Myra’s room setup preferences:

Theatre style works best with groups of 100 or more attendees.

Classroom style works best with small groups of 20-100 participants and/or for programs that are over 2 hours in duration. Half day and full day programs will contain content your attendees will want to capture on paper, as well as needing a place for beverages while participating in a program of this length.

Does Myra customize her presentations?

Yes. Myra limits her calendar to ensure exceptional customization so the program is a perfect fit for the specific needs of your group. Myra will arrange a content-developing conference call with the Meeting Planner and all key decision makers before the event.

How does Myra ensure her ideas and strategies are retained and applied?

Myra firmly believes that "business education without execution is just entertainment" so she does several things to ensure that her ideas and strategies are reinforced and retained.

• As a special gift to all seminar participants Myra provides laminated take-away wallet cards which reinforce the main ideas from the training.
• At the conclusion of all half day and full day seminars, participants are asked to set specific goals for implementing the new strategies they've learned. Ninety days after the training, these goals are mailed back to participants to serve as a reminder and reinforcement.
• Myra will arrange for a follow-up teleconference with the Meeting Planner so after you have had a chance to begin applying the many skills and techniques you learned, you may call for additional instruction, or to ask new questions.
• Many of Myra's clients choose to purchase Myra's books and on-demand high impact webinars (on CD) in advance to provide as gifts to those in attendance. When educational resources are not purchased in advance, Myra will bring her resources for people to purchase after the event. In this case, one six-foot table in the back of the room will be needed.

How long are Myra's presentations?

Myra designs programs to meet your specific objectives. Based on your objectives and your time parameters, programs can be 30 minutes or two days and anything between.

Can Myra present different programs in one day?

Yes. Frequently at meetings, Myra will deliver a keynote and then one or two breakout sessions on totally different subjects. A great meeting investment for you.

Yes. Myra's most recent book is Beyond WOW: The Service Leadership Approach to Excellent Service. Myra has also produced many CD educational programs. Many of our clients give Myra's books and CDs as gifts to their meeting attendees.

What does Myra need from us?

Myra will need you to help her to understand your group so that she can adapt her message to meet your needs.

You and Myra will have several conversations so that you feel totally comfortable with her part on your program. Myra starts off with a comprehensive pre-program questionnaire and is happy to interview several individuals of your choice for background material.
